I'm Doing My First Event... What should I do??

It's Gameday, your first of many events. You will remember this day as your first triumph or failure in the Photobooth Industry and will learn how to fool proof your next event or get new ideas to elevate your guests experience.

It will all turn out fine and I'm gonna tell you how!

Prep Work

Double check your equipment a week before, the day before, and the day of.

You want to make sure you can get the hang of the fancy equipment you invested a good lump some of money into. This was one of the mistakes I'd gone through in the photobooth business. Play around with the settings and do your best to make the perfect photo. I have used Darkroom Booth for the majority of my rentals business and understand how to trouble shoot most problems such as a disconnected printer to lagging in the software. (I'll be posting trouble shooting tips in  another page)

Interacting with the Clients

Be Their Friend!

The photobooth is where your guests get to express how they feel through a photo. Their own photoshoot. Throw 'em a prop or 2, some neat shades, or prop sign that lets them express that. When I'm at a event I let my guests know how many photos will be taken and suggest ways to prep for their session. Each session is usually about a minute or less so you wanna make sure they make the most out of it! Or don't, some guests get a kick of the moments you don't plan for. They usually make the best memories!
